More benefits for AVE and Long Distance customers with new on-board services.

A new model of on-board services has been put in place on Renfe AVE and Long Distance trains with flexibility that lets us tailor our offer to the real requirements of our passengers, reduce the fare for tickets in First Class during certain periods, and maintain the service quality everyone expects of us.

AVE and Euromed combine the formula of the in-seat meal service and a snack bar cart.

  • Monday through Friday and Sundays, these trains maintain the in-seat meal service.
  • During weekends, holidays and holiday seasons, the snack bar cart will take the place of the in-seat meal service. That makes tickets in First Class more economical at these times.
  • In addition, the new snack bar cart is also offered in Tourist and Tourist Plus classes every day of the week.
  • And, of course, the cafeteria service so appreciated by our customers is always available.

For all other Long Distance trains, customers can also benefit from new flexibility and savings with their First Class tickets.

  • The snack bar cart is available during all daytime services.
  • The in-seat meal service is being eliminated on Alvia, Altaria and Trenhotel trains.
