Madrid Puerta de Atocha Boarding Area

The lower floor of the Madrid Puerta de Atocha station, known as level 619, will be the boarding area for the following trains::

  • All Madrid-Alicante AVE Trains.
  • All Madrid-Valencia AVE Trains.
  • Boarding for Avant trains is currently on this level.

And also for the Alvia and AV City trains which stop in Madrid listed below:

  • Gijón – Alicante.
  • Gijón – Oropesa.
  • Santander – Alicante.
  • Ferrol – Alicante.
  • Huesca – Alicante.

Boarding for passengers on the Altaria Madrid‐Granada and Madrid‐Algeciras trains is on level 624, on the upper floor.

The installation will facilitate the flow of passengers and reorganise traffic in response to the growth in customers over the past year for journeys between Madrid and the Community of Valencia.

Location

Located on the lower floor of the station, on the same level as the platforms, the boarding area has a Renfe zone, an area reserved for customers in First Class and Club which complements the service offered in the Club Lounge located on the floor above.

And very close to the Renfe zone, there is a last-minute point which will facilitate urgent arrangements related to ticket changes (date, time or class) or cancellations and resolve situations such as missed trains.
