First Class

The main features of first class on Altaria trains are space, comfort, lots of light and impeccable décor.

Passengers travelling in first class enjoy a parking allowance (except in the car parks at Madrid Atocha), the club lounge and free newspapers, all included in the ticket price.

Long distance Alvia, Altaria, Diurno, Talgo, Intercity, AV and Trenhotel trains do not offer in-seat dining.

The carriages are lounge cars with a central aisle and each row has with three seats (two together and one single) with lots of space in-between. They may be changed to face the direction of travel, except the far ends seats which remain fixed in place.

Each seat is a sliding seat and comes with a table, audio and video outlets, bin, individual arm rests, foot rest and a reclining back.

The distance between seats is 103 cm and the width 50 cm.

There are overhead luggage racks and vertical luggage racks at the each end of the carriage.

Standard Class

Standard carriages boast similar features to first class in terms of comfort, light and décor. They are lounge carriages with a central aisle and two seats on either side. The seats face the direction of travel, except the end seats, which remain static.

Each seat is a sliding seat and comes with a table, audio and video outlets, bin, individual arm rests, foot rest and a reclining back. The distance between seats is 103 cm and the seat width is 46 cm. There are overhead luggage racks and vertical luggage racks at the each end of the carriage.

The following on-board services are available in Standard class: video, music and buffet car.
