A personal, named, non-transferable pass, valid for any 10 journeys between two specific stations selected at the time of purchase.
The journeys may be made on all AVE services and on other Larga Distancia (Long-Distance) services that operate on high-speed lines and coincide with AVE train routes. The pass is only valid for seats.
The BonoAVE pass gives a 35% discount on the General AVE fare depending on the journey purchased by the customer. This price cannot be used in conjunction with other discounts except for the Large Family discount and for others specifically indicated in the ticket’s terms and conditions.
It will be valid for 4 months from the date of purchase. During this time the first validation must be made. Once this is done, it may be used for 4 months starting from the date of first validation. If the price of the pass changes during the period of validity, the unused journeys will be valid until the pass expires with no price changes.
The different BonoAVE types are as follows:
Ticket offices at Stations, Ceuta Sales Office, www.renfe.com, Travel Agencies in person and online, Telephone Sales - Renfe Contigo 912 320 320, Renfe Ticket and Multiproduct Self-Service Machines located in stations.
The Pass may only be cancelled free of charge if it has not been used.
If the Pass has been used for any transaction, but no journey has been made on it, it may be cancelled with payment of a cancellation fee of 15% of its price.
Ticket windows at stations can be used to cancel BonoAVE passes purchased through any of the sales channels except for Online Travel Agencies.
Travel Agencies in person can only be used to cancel passes purchased via this channel. Those purchased at online agencies may only be cancelled via the issuing online agency
Ticket booking validation is obligatory for each journey.

Validations cannot be changed.
A validation can be cancelled at no cost.
Passengers need to show the BonoAVE alongside the booking validation and valid documents proving they are eligible for other discounts, and keep them until the end of the journey. In addition, they must have their identity document with them.
