VIDEO CALL SERVICE FOR PEOPLE WITH A HEARING DISABILITY

Renfe Viajeros, S.M.E, S.A., as the Data Controller, informs you that it will process your data to offer you the video call service for people with a hearing disability. We inform you that this service uses exclusively Spanish sign language and that the video calls will be recorded for the purposes of our legitimate interest in improving the quality of the service and as proof of the operations carried out. Likewise, we will not communicate your data unless legally obliged. The data of the video call service will be kept for the time necessary for the fulfilment of the intended purpose. You can exercise your data protection rights by contacting derechos.viajeros@renfe.es and the data protection officer at dpd@renfe.es.

• If you continue, you expressly accept that Renfe Viajeros may process your health data (hearing impairment). We inform you that the video call service is especially aimed at people with hearing disabilities, so its use can be conceived as a disclosure of personal health data (art.9.1.a and 6.1.a GDPR), with your consent being a necessary requirement for us to provide you with this service.

BASIC INFORMATION ON DATA PROTECTION

Renfe Viajeros, S.M.E, S.A. informs you that your personal data, or any personal data of third parties that you provide to us with their consent, will be used to (1) guarantee the quality of the service and as proof of the operations carried out; (2) manage the sale of our products; (3) fight fraud; (4) with your consent, send you commercial communications; (5) in the case of personalised tickets, verify the ownership of the ticket by validating identity documents; (6) send electronic communications with invitations to participate in surveys; (7) prepare profiles (however, no automated individual decisions will be made that have legal effects on you or that similarly affect you significantly); and (8) send communications by email, SMS and/or WhatsApp with relevant information about the journey or service contracted. However, we will only contact you via WhatsApp for such purposes when we have your consent.
