Playa de Poniente

Playa de Poniente is a small, artificial sandy beach that has become the epicentre for a variety of activities. It boasts all the necessary services and its calm waters are perfect for enjoying a day at the beach with the family. It even has a playground in the sand!

Playa de San Lorenzo

This natural beach is much larger than Poniente and is more than 1.5 km in length (perfect for going for walks!) It also boasts areas for sports and several access staircases.

Possibly the most famous beach in Gijón, with a long promenade measuring approximately 3 km offering wonderful views of the city.

 

 

Playa del Arbeyal

Another quiet beach that is perfect for spending the day with children on account of its calm waters and its surroundings with green areas and shade for going on walks. It is also perfectly accessible by car and boasts a variety of services including playgrounds, showers, toilets and rescue service. The perfect option for spending a summer day with the family!
