  • The Bullring. The first essential stop-off in Osuna is its bullring. And you would be forgiven for asking yourself... why is it so essential? Because it set the scene for one of the most popular series in history: Game of Thrones.

    That's right, the actors travelled to the Osuna bullring to record parts of the series. Today, as well as being a monument worth visiting for its majesty, it is also a place of pilgrimage for all fans of the series. Are you one of them?
  • Collegiate Church of Our Lady of the Assumption. It is one of the most beautiful examples of Baroque architecture in all of Andalusia. The church boasts an impressive bell tower and a spectacular interior, decorated with frescoes and marble statues.
  • Monasterio de la Encarnación. The beauty of this monastery home to collection of Baby Jesus figures is sure to leave its mark. The courtyard is surrounded by a plinth with Sevillian tiles dating back to the eighteenth century, as well as imagery and precious pieces of gold-work inside.
  • Plaza Mayor. Ready to discover one of the most emblematic places in Osuna? Then get your walking shoes on! The Plaza Mayor in Osuna is the social and cultural lifeblood of the city. This lively, bustling square is home to countless bars, restaurants and local craft shops.

    It is the perfect place to kick back with a drink in hand after a long day taking in the wonderful places in this city. The square is also home to architectural treasures including the Palacio de los Cepeda, Osuna Town Hall and the Fuente del Caño Gordo. All these places are very popular amongst tourists and locals alike as it is one of the liveliest places in the city.

Some of its classic creations passed down from generation to generation include guiso de tagarninas, cocido ursaonés and repapalillas de bacalao. The delicacies are served up at most of the city's bars and restaurants and are perfect if you want to feel like part of the local culture.

If you have a little more time, we recommend that you visit El Coto de las Canteras, known as the Petra of Andalusia for its impressive reliefs carved in stone. A treasure dating back 3,000 years ago about which very little known.
