Andalusian Route: Seville–Malaga (7 days, 6 nights)

Day one, Sunday: Seville – Jerez

Reception of passengers in Seville, Hotel Alfonso XIII, at 10 a.m. Afterwards we will visit the capital of Andalusia, which has the largest old quarter in Spain. After lunch, we will enjoy a panoramic view of the city and tour the famous Plaza de España, before boarding the Al Ándalus Train. Welcome toast on the train, crew presentation and passengers will be taken to their rooms. Dinner on board while the train arrives in Jerez, overnight stay in Jerez.
 

Day two, Monday: Jerez - Cádiz - Jerez

After breakfast, the coach will take us to Cádiz, popularly known as the "Tacita de Plata" and considered the oldest city in the West. Visit and free time to enjoy the charm of Cadiz on your own. Lunch. In the afternoon we will return to Jerez. Free time, dinner and night in Jerez.

Day three, Tuesday: Jerez – Ronda

After breakfast, we will visit a sherry wine cellar and also watch "How the Andalusian Horses Dance", a famous equestrian ballet with Spanish music. Lunch on board on the way to Ronda. Dinner at a restaurant in Ronda and overnight stay in Ronda. 

Day four, Wednesday: Ronda – Córdoba

After breakfast, we will visit Ronda, an impressive town sitting on a plateau cut by the deep Tajo de Ronda, through which the Guadalevín River runs. Lunch on board while the train arrives in Córdoba. Visit, dinner and night in Córdoba.

Day five, Thursday: Córdoba - Úbeda -Baeza - Granada

After breakfast on board, we will visit the Mosque-Cathedral and continue the tour of what was the capital of the emirate and the medieval caliphate of Al Andalus, when it became the largest, most cultured and opulent city in Western Europe. Lunch on board while the train pulls into Linares-Baeza station and a tour of Úbeda and Baeza, both cities declared UNESCO World Heritage Sites. In the afternoon-evening, during dinner, we will arrive in Granada. Overnight in Granada.

Day six, Friday: Granada

After breakfast we will take a tour of the most visited monument in Spain, a rich palatial complex built by the Nazari sovereigns of the Kingdom of Granada. (Alhambra tour times can vary depending on the number of people in the group, languages and the authorisations of the persons in charge of the palace complex). Lunch. In the afternoon we will continue the tour of Granada. Dinner and night in Granada.

Seventh day, Saturday: Granada - Málaga

After a last breakfast on board, we will say goodbye to the train and its crew and travel by coach to Málaga, where we will visit the Alcazaba, a palatial fortification from the Muslim era. Free time and lunch at the Hotel AC by Marriot Málaga Palacio, where the trip will end at approximately 5 p.m.

Day one, Sunday: Málaga-Granada

Reception of passengers at the Hotel AC by Marriot Málaga Palacio in Málaga at 10 a.m. Later we will visit the city of Málaga and the Alcazaba, a palatial fortification from the Muslim era. Lunch at the  Hotel AC by Marriot Málaga Palacio. In the afternoon the coach will take us to Granada where the train and its crew will be waiting for us. Welcome and accommodation on board the Tren Al Ándalus. Dinner and night in Granada.
 

Day two, Monday: Granada – Linares/Baeza

After breakfast, the bus will take us to Cádiz, popularly known as the "Tacita de Plata" and considered the oldest city in the West. Tour, free time and lunch in Cádiz. Dinner and night in Jerez.

Seventh day, Saturday: Jerez - Seville

While we have breakfast we will arrive in Seville where we will say goodbye to the crew and take a tour of Seville, the city with the largest historic centre in Spain. It has been named a World Heritage City, and is home to a wealth of art and beautiful gardens. Lunch at the Hotel Alfonso XIII where the trip will end around 5 p.m.
