Green Spain Route: Bilbao – Santiago de Compostela (6 days - 5 nights)

Day one, Saturday: Bilbao-Santander

Reception at Concordia - Bilbao station, at 10 a.m., on board the train, presentation of the crew and rooms to passengers. Panoramic tour of the city and visit to the Guggenheim museum. Food on board while the train leaves for Santander. Visit of the city in the afternoon, free time and dinner in one of the city's restaurants. Those who want to do so can visit the Casino del Sardinero. Overnight in Santander.

Day two, Sunday: Santander-Santillana-Arriondas

While having breakfast on board the train we will arrive at Cabezón de la Sal, from where the bus will take us to visit the medieval town of Santillana del Mar and the neocave of Altamira. Food in Santillana del Mar. After lunch, by train we'll enter into Asturian lands, Ribadesella Visit. Dinner and night at Arriondas.

Day three, Monday: Picos de Europa-Oviedo-Candás

After breakfast we will leave by bus to the first capital of the Kingdom of Asturias, Cangas de Onís, then we will go into the heart of the Picos de Europa; Covadonga Sanctuary and Lake Enol. Later we will return to the train that will set off for Candas while we eat. Visit to Avilés and free time. Dinner and night in Candás.

Day four, Tuesday: Candás-Oviedo-Gijón-Luarca

After breakfast we start the day with a visit to Oviedo, capital of the Principality, then Gijón, a city near the sea and full of energy, free time and lunch in Gijón. In the afternoon with the train we will arrive in Luarca, visit, dinner and night in Luarca.

Day five, Wednesday: Luarca-Ribadeo-Viveiro

While we have breakfast we will arrive at Ribadeo, the first Galician enclave on our route. Visit, free time and food in Ribadeo. In the afternoon, the train will take us to Viveiro. Visit, dinner and night at Viveiro.

Day six, Thursday: Viveiro-Santiago de Compostela

On our last day, while having breakfast we will arrive in Ferrol, where we will say goodbye to the crew and we will depart by bus in this Holy Jacobean year to the Galician capital, Santiago de Compostela. Visit and lunch at the Parador Reyes Católicos, where we will say goodbye around 4:00 p.m.

Day one, Saturday: Santiago de Compostela - Ferrol - Viveiro

Reception at the Parador Reyes Católicos de Santiago de Compostela at 10 a.m. Visit to Santiago in this Jacobean Holy Year and lunch. In the afternoon by bus we will arrive in Ferrol where the train will be waiting for us. Presentation of the crew and accommodation. Visit to Viveiro, free time, dinner and night in Viveiro.

Day two, Sunday: Viveiro - Ribadeo - Luarca - Candás

While we have breakfast on board the train, it will arrive at Ribadeo, for a visit, free time and lunch in Ribadeo. In the afternoon we will arrive by train to the first Asturian enclave, Luarca, the Villa Blanca of the Costa Verde. Tour. Dinner and night in Candás.

Day three, Monday: Avilés - Gijón - Oviedo - Arriondas

After breakfast we will take the bus to visit Avilés and then Gijón. In the afternoon we will visit the capital of the Principality, Oviedo. Visit and free time. Late in the afternoon with the train we'll set off for Arriondas. Dinner on board and night in Arriondas.

Day four, Tuesday: Picos de Europa - Llanes - Cabezón de la Sal

After breakfast we will take the bus to the heart of the Picos de Europa, Covadonga Sanctuary, Lake Enol and the first capital of the Kingdom of Asturias, Cangas de Onís. Lunch. In the afternoon, we will visit the village of Llanes, and then leave for Cantabrian lands. We will have dinner on board and spend the night in Cabezón de la Sal.

Day five, Wednesday: Santillana del Mar - Santander

After breakfast we will visit the Medieval Village of Santillana del Mar and the Neocave of Altamira. While we eat the train will arrive at Santander. Visit, free time and dinner in a typical restaurant. Those who want to do so can visit the Casino del Sardinero. Overnight in Santander.

Day six, Thursday: Santander - Bilbao

During breakfast the train will head for Basque lands, arriving at the Biscayan capital, Bilbao. Visit and food. After lunch we will go back to the train to pick up our luggage and say goodbye to the crew around 4 p.m..
