The procession in honour of the Virgen de La Paloma is one of the most important moments of the festivities. During the procession, a statue of the virgin is carried through the streets of the neighbourhood while people sing and dance around her. This very emotional and moving moment reflects the devotion and faith of local residents towards the neighbourhood's patron saint.

But without a doubt, one of the highlights of the La Paloma festivities is their atmosphere. The celebrations see the La Latina neighbourhood filled with life and joy. Music is played everywhere, ranging from live orchestra performances to DJs and you can hear different musical genres including flamenco, pop, rock and electronic music. It is the perfect opportunity to meet new people and make friends, while taking in Spanish music and culture.
