Eurail is a personal and non-transferable pass, which can be purchased and used by persons with permanent residence outside Europe, the Russian Federation or Turkey. It allows you to discover more than 40,000 destinations in 33 European countries, travelling by train or ferry.

There is no age limit for travelling on an Eurail pass. In addition to the adult pass, the following can be purchased:

  • Young person: for young people under the age of 28, with a 23% discount
  • Senior: for adults 60 and older, with a 10% discount
  • Family: for children between the ages of 4 and 11. This pass is free for minors travelling with adults (limited to two Child passes per adult).

There are two pass types:

  • Eurail Global Pass, which allows you to travel around several countries, and Eurail
  • One Country Pass, if you prefer to simply travel around one country. You can choose the number of days you want to spend on your trip: from 3 days in a month to 3 continuous months.

To complete your trip, various ferry companies and other partner companies offer discounts and special conditions to Eurail pass holders.

The Eurail pass is sold outside Europe, through several authorised distributors. To solve any incidents you may have with your pass, there are Eurail assistance offices in the main European cities (in Spain, at the stations of Barcelona Sants, Barcelona França, Madrid Chamartín - Clara Campoamor, Seville Santa Justa and Valencia Joaquín Sorolla)
