The best beaches of the Cote d'Azur

The arrival of good weather is the perfect moment to sunbathe in a magnificent beach. France's most amazing beaches can be found on the Côte d'Azur. Coves from Marseille to Cassis

The 20-kilometre long coastline between Marseille and Cassis are part of the spectacular Calanques Natural Park​. Along the route, you will find a large number of beautiful coves with crystal-clear waters, surrounded by small cliffs and pine forests. Some of the best coves are: Port Miou, Port Pin, En Vau and Morgiou, Sormiou and les Goudes.

Promenade des Anglais, Nice​

Nice's Promenade des Anglais offers one of the classic panoramic views of the French city. Bordering the coast of baie des Anges and along the promenade are some of the city's best hotels, such as the legendary Negresco, as well as other beautiful palaces and a huge selection of restaurants. The long beach, perfect for families, with one of the most characteristic images, the blue chairs along the promenade, in which you can sunbathe or simply admire the intense blue colour of the Mediterranean Sea.


Located next to Nice, Cannes is famous for its film festival held in May. The main beach is located on the Promenade de la Croisette, which is more than 2 kilometres in length. Like its neighbouring city, Nice, on the promenade you can find a wide range of restaurants and city's best hotels, such as the Carlton, the Majestic, the Chanel and the legendary Martínez.

Saint Tropez

This small fishing village of only 6000 inhabitants, found in the heart of the Côte d'Azur, became one of the most important tourist spots in France and a meeting place for many celebrities, top models, singers and important Hollywood actors thanks to actress Brigitte Bardot.

Its shops carry the world's top brands and you can see yachts anchored in the port. Quite an example of glamour and ostentation.

Notre-Dame Porquerolles

The island of Porquerolles is part of the archipelago of the Îles d'Hyères, Var. The beaches of La Courtade, Plage dárgent and Notre-Dame can be found on the north of the island. These fine white sand beaches with crystal-clear waters will take you to a small piece of paradise in the Mediterranean.
