Andalusian Route: Seville–Malaga (7 days, 6 nights)

Day one, Sunday: Seville – Jerez

Passengers are greeted in Seville at the Hotel Taberna del Alabardero, at 10.00. Afterwards we will visit the capital of Andalusia, which has the largest old quarter in Spain. After lunch, we'll take in panoramic views of the city, before boarding the Al Andalus Train. Welcome toast on the train, crew presentation and passengers will be taken to their rooms. Dinner on board while the train arrives in Jerez, overnight stay in Jerez. 

Day two, Monday: Jerez - Cádiz - Jerez

After breakfast, the coach will take us to Cádiz, popularly known as the "Tacita de Plata" and considered the oldest city in the West. Visit and free time to enjoy the charm of Cadiz on your own. Lunch. In the afternoon we will return to Jerez. Spare time, dinner and night in Jerez.
 

Day three, Tuesday: Jerez – Ronda

After breakfast, we will visit a sherry wine cellar and also watch "How the Andalusian Horses Dance", a famous equestrian ballet with Spanish music. Lunch on board on the way to Ronda. Dinner at a restaurant in Ronda and overnight stay in Ronda.
 

Day four, Wednesday: Ronda – Córdoba

After breakfast, we will visit Ronda, an impressive town sitting on a plateau cut by the deep Tajo de Ronda, through which the Guadalevín River runs. Lunch on board while the train arrives in Córdoba. Visit, dinner and night in Córdoba.
 

Day five, Thursday: Córdoba - Úbeda -Baeza - Granada

After breakfast on board, we will visit the Mosque-Cathedral and continue the tour of what was the capital of the emirate and the medieval caliphate of Al Andalus, when it became the largest, most cultured and opulent city in Western Europe. Lunch. We will then arrive by train to Linares-Baeza station and a tour of Úbeda and an oil mill in Baeza, both cities declared UNESCO World Heritage Sites. In the afternoon-evening, during dinner, we will arrive in Granada. Overnight in Granada.
 

Day six, Friday: Granada

After breakfast we will take a tour of the most visited monument in Spain, a rich palatial complex built by the Nazari sovereigns of the Kingdom of Granada. (The schedule of the visit of the Alhambra can vary depending on the number of people in the group, languages and the authorisations of the persons in charge of the palace complex). Lunch. In the afternoon we will continue the tour of Granada. Dinner and night in Granada.
 

Seventh day, Saturday: Granada - Málaga

After enjoying our last breakfast on board, we will say goodbye to the train and its crew to travel on the bus to Málaga, where we will visit its Alcazaba, a palace fortification dating back to the Muslim era. Spare time and lunch in Málaga. 

We will end our trip at the AC Hotel by Marriott Málaga Palacio, at approximately 17.00. 
 

 

Andalusian Route: Málaga-Seville (7 days, 6 nights)

Day one, Sunday: Málaga-Granada

Passengers are greeted at the AC Hotel by Marriot Málaga Palacio at 10.00. Later we will visit the city of Málaga and the Alcazaba, a palatial fortification from the Muslim era. Lunch in Málaga. In the afternoon the coach will take us to Granada where the train and its crew will be waiting for us. Welcome and accommodation on board the Tren Al Ándalus. Dinner and night in Granada. 

Day two, Monday: Granada – Linares/Baeza

After our first breakfast on board we will take a tour of the most visited monument in Spain, a rich palatial complex built by the Nazari sovereigns of the Kingdom of Granada. After breakfast we will visit Úbeda, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Visit to an oil mill in Baeza and oil tasting. While we eat the train will arrive in Córdoba. Tour of what used to be the capital of the emirate and the medieval caliphate of Al Ándalus, when it became the largest, most cultured and opulent city in Western Europe. Dinner and night in Córdoba.
 

Day four, Wednesday: Córdoba - Ronda

After breakfast on board, we will visit the Mosque-Cathedral and continue by train to Ronda. Lunch on board. In the afternoon we will visit Ronda, an impressive town sitting on a plateau sliced in half by the deep Tajo de Ronda, through which the Guadalevín River runs. Dinner in a restaurant and overnight stay in Ronda.
 

Day five, Thursday: Ronda - Jerez

After breakfast, the train will arrive in Jerez, where we will visit a sherry wine cellar and also watch "How the Andalusian Horses Dance", a famous equestrian ballet with Spanish music. Lunch in Sanlúcar de Barrameda and free time. Dinner aboard the train. Overnight in Jerez.
 

Day six, Friday: Jerez – Cádiz - Jerez

Seventh day, Saturday: Jerez - Seville

While we have breakfast we will arrive in Seville where we will say goodbye to the crew and take a tour of Seville, the city with the largest historic centre in Spain. A World Heritage city with stunning cultural attractions and beautiful gardens. Lunch and end of the trip at the Hotel Taberna del Alabardero at around 17.00.
