Our ethical principles

In the Renfe Group we have a Compliance Model based on ethical principles, which allows us to properly fulfil our obligations and commitments, with the aim of offering society and our interest groups safe, sustainable and responsible transport, through a quality service.

Our Code of Ethics is based on the following pillars:

1. Integrity and transparency
2. Regulatory compliance
3. Commitment to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)
4. Social and ethical commitment
5. Respect for human rights
6. Security
7. Protection of the environment
8. Quality of our services
9. Sustainable development and responsible supply chain

Respect for SDG 16 (Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions) is fundamental to ensure a fair and ethical business environment, driving us to work with integrity, transparency and accountability.

Through our Code of Ethics and Compliance policies, we actively contribute to the strengthening of solid and trustworthy institutions, showing zero tolerance for any act of corruption and promoting respect for human rights and the creation of a sustainable value chain.
