In addition to Mónsul and Playa de los Genoveses, Cabo de Gata Natural Park boasts other beaches that are well worth a visit, or two!

  • Playa de Los Muertos: this beach has a reputation for having the bluest and clearest water in the area. As it is located at a distance from villages, peace and disconnection are guaranteed. But be careful, it is not recommended for children as the beach drops off very quickly and can be dangerous to bathe in if there are strong currents.
  • Cala Rajá: Located in a remote area of Cabo de Gata, this cove offers a unique experience with its dark sand and transparent waters. It is perfect for those looking for a beach that is not very crowded and has a special charm.

  • Playa de Agua Amarga: with access for people with reduced mobility, this beach is located in the town of the same name. Unlike other beaches in the area, this features services including restaurants, hotels or kiosks, and it tends to be quite busy in July and August. Nevertheless, its sands and water make it the perfect place to spend your holidays.
