What is Más Renfe?

Más Renfe is the Renfe loyalty programme designed for frequent customers for whom we would like to reward their loyalty and improve their travel experience before, during and after their journey. Just for being a member of the programme you can get trips with your Renfe Points. The Renfe Points accumulated can also be exchanged for the services offered by our partner companies.
 

How can I obtain Renfe Points?

Every time you travel on our AVE (high-speed), Avlo, Larga Distancia (long distance) and Avant (mid-distance high-speed) trains and use non-transferrable passes for Media Distancia (Mid-Distance) and Cercanías/Rodalies (commuter), you can earn Renfe Points, which will be assigned to you based on your level within the Más Renfe programme and your chosen travel option.

To do so, you must indicate your Más Renfe number when making your purchase on any channel (station ticket offices, Renfe App, multiproduct self-service machines, Renfe website, telephone ticket sales service "Renfe Contigo" at 91 232 03 20 and authorised travel distributors and travel agencies).

You can also obtain Renfe Points from our partner companies. 

Furthermore, if you use our financial cards as a method of payment:

• With the Renfe American Express card, you get 15% off your purchases in Renfe Points. 1€ spent with the card = 0.15 Renfe Points.
• With the Renfe Mastercard, you get 0.10 Renfe Points for every euro spent on Renfe purchases and 0.05 Renfe Points for every euro spent on other purchases.

How can I redeem my Renfe Points?

You can use your Renfe Points to obtain a discount voucher or to travel for free on any of our AVE, Avlo, Long Distance, Media Distance, Avant and Cercanías/Rodalies trains. When you buy your tickets, you will be given the price expressed in Renfe Points.

10 Renfe Points are equivalent to €1.

Now you can also redeem your points for a discount voucher!

If you don't have enough points to redeem them on a ticket, you can use them to get a discount voucher that will reduce the price of your ticket. You can also give the voucher for your points to someone else as a gift for them to travel.

Just access your Private Area, in the "My Points" section, to get your discount voucher, which you will receive immediately. It's that easy. You can also see it in the "My codes" section.

You can redeem up to a maximum of 1,000 points for a discount voucher. Please note that discount vouchers cannot be used on connecting tickets or commuter train tickets.

You can also redeem your Renfe Points in hotels, car hire, donations to NGOs, etc. thanks to our partner companies.

How do I register?

1. Sign up at the following link, it is free of charge.

2. Enter your Más Renfe loyalty programme number whenever you book your trip, whether you do so at renfe.com, a station ticket office, travel agency, etc. You can also earn Renfe Points from our partner companies and whenever you use the Renfe Mastercard or Renfe American Express card.

3. When you make your purchase, you will know how many Renfe Points you have earned, which will be added to your account after you complete your journey.

4. Travel free simply by exchanging your Renfe Points for train tickets and on the products and services from our partner companies.

Depending on the journeys you accumulate, you can also level up as part of the Más Renfe programme. The levels are: Más Renfe, Más Renfe Plata, Más Renfe Oro and Más Renfe Platino.

Each of them is designed to improve your travel experience with exclusive services, such as access to club lounges, free parking, Renfe Points with no expiry, exclusive discounts, upgrades to Premium or Elige Confort, etc.
