Faster, simpler, more innovative.
Pay directly at the turnstiles using your bank card or your mobile phone with Cronos. Yes, yes, it's that easy! This new system allows you to pay for your one-way ticket using a contactless credit or debit card or your mobile phone payment system.
How does it work? Very simple. Each time you pay for one or more one-way tickets, the corresponding fare and the number of zones you have travelled through will be charged; you can check the corresponding charge on your bank account statement.
Validating the ticket at turnstiles or ticket validating machines of the DEPARTURE and arrival stations is REQUIRED. Passengers who fail to do so will be charged the FULL AMOUNT corresponding to tickets for all zones within the network.
From the fifth journey onwards, a 40% discount is applied to the price of a one-way ticket. To benefit from this discount, all journeys must be made with the same card. The discount is independent of the number of zones for each journey; what is counted is the total number of journeys made, and from the fifth onwards, it is applied automatically.
It is not necessary for the journeys to be made within the same network, as all journeys made in any network are counted. In other words, the discount is multi-network: Once the fifth journey has been completed in any network, the discount will be applied across all of them.
Discounts are calculated per calendar month. This means that trips made within the same month are taken into account and, when a new month begins, the counter is reset. Therefore, the discount will not be applied again until you have completed the fifth journey in the new month.
