At Renfe, we have implemented customised tickets on all our sales channels; therefore, when purchasing any ticket from our Commercial Services (Ave, Alvia, Euromed, etc. ), you will be asked to provide a series of basic details of the person travelling, including a mobile phone contact number.

That way, we can get in contact if we need to, for safety or health reasons, and offer you better care before and during your trip, informing you of any incidents or delays with your train.

If you travel on AVE (high-speed) or Larga Distancia (Long Distance) trains, you have free Combined Cercanías, with which you can receive two free tickets to travel in Cercanías, Rodalies (Commuter), Feve or on the TRAM network of Alicante. You can use them from 4 hours before departure of the train and up to 4 hours after arrival at destination.

Receive these free tickets at self-service machines and station ticket offices, scanning the barcode or entering the code on your ticket.
