Group trips of 10 to 25 people

Group trips, starting with a minimum of 10 people and up to a maximum of 25, also have discounts. 

Discounts vary depending on the type of train you want to travel on:

Discounts on AVE (high-speed), AVE International between Spain and France and Larga Distancia (Long Distance) trains:

  • Get an 8% discount on the price you would pay as a group if you bought your tickets individually.
  • This discount does not allow you to purchase extra add-ins and does not allow partial changes or cancellations.
  • Children under the age of 4 who do not occupy a seat can travel for free, up to a maximum of 4 for each group of 25 people.

Changes and cancellations

No changes are permitted on these tickets and they can only be cancelled if all of them are cancelled. There are no add-ons and no seat selection options.

Groups on Basic tickets are non-refundable.

In the case of groups with Elige or Elige Confort tickets: An 85% refund of the ticket price (15% penalty) for cancellations of over 48 hours from departure of the train and a 25% refund (75% penalty
) for cancellations within 48 hours of the train's departure.

Discounts on Avant (Mid-Distance High-Speed) and Media Distancia (Mid-Distance) and Cercanías (Commuter) trains:

For group trips between 10 and 25 people, enjoy the following discounts:

  • On Avant (mid-distance high-speed) trains: 15%
  • On Media Distancia (Mid-Distance) trains: 20%. Children under the age of 4 can travel for free and if they are between 4 and 13 years old travel with 40 discount%
  • On Cercanías (Commuter) and Feve:
    • One-way: 30%.
    • Return: 40%.
    • Children under the age of 12 travel with a 50% discount.

Changes and cancellations

These tickets do not allow changes and can only be cancelled if the cancellation is made on all of them and with a 15% deduction.

Sales channels

Tickets for Avant (mid-distance high-speed) and Media Distancia (Mid-distance) trains can be purchased at the ticket offices of stations with electronic sales, in-person travel agencies and through telephone sales.

For Cercanías (Commuter) and Feve trains, at stations with ticket offices or Self-service Machines.

Remember that school, association and cultural organisation groups can benefit from special conditions for Media Distancia (Mid-distance) trips, with 40% discounts and up to 50% for minors.
