The Prémium Ticket offers you a trip at the highest level, in the XL Confort seat to enjoy more leg room and comfort, with all add-ons included in the price of your ticket: seat selection, changes and cancellations, in-seat food service ... and much more!

If you are a Más Renfe member, with the Prémium Ticket you will earn the highest percentage of Renfe Points, which you can use on future trips or with our partners.

  • Travel in the XL Confort seat.
  • Maximum flexibility for your trip with the Superflex pack, which includes the following add-ons:
    • Unlimited free changes: Make all the changes you need up to the date and time of departure without any additional charges. You will only be asked to pay for the difference in price with the new ticket, if any.
    • Puente AVE (high-speed): advance or delay your departure on the same day of the trip, with no additional change fees and without having to pay for any fare difference
    • Full refund: You can cancel your ticket up to 7 calendar days before the date of departure and you will receive 100% of the ticket amount, or 95% if it is cancelled within 6 days of departure.
  • If you need to, you can change the holder of your ticket for free.
  • If something comes up and you miss your train, you will be able to change your ticket to travel on the next one free of charge, provided that you request the ticket after departure of the train and within the next 30 minutes of its departure.
  • Select the seat in which you wish to travel, with no extra charge.
  • Wait for your train in comfort: Enjoy access to the Club Lounge at the departure station from 2 hours before the departure of your train. Discover our Club Lounges.
  • Travel with your pet for free as long as it does not exceed 10 kg. The "Dog weighing up to 40 kg" add-on can only be purchased with Elige Estándar Tickets.

  • The changes and cancellations add-ons (Unlimited free changes, Puente AVE (high-speed), Full Refund and Superflex pack) can only be purchased at the time of purchase of the ticket and are not available for Básico tickets. Choose an Elige or Prémium ticket to enjoy a greater flexibility.
  • All tickets can be cancelled free of charge within 2 hours after purchase.
  • All AVE (high-speed) and Larga Distancia (long distance high-speed) tickets are individual tickets with the passenger's name on, so we can contact you if needed. When you are travelling, do not forget to bring a valid ID document with a photograph (national ID card, driver's licence, residence card or a passport). Identity checks may be carried out during the check-in process or on the train.

If you travel on AVE (high-speed) or Larga Distancia (Long Distance) trains, your ticket includes the Combined Suburban Trains, which allows you to travel on Cercanías (Commuter) (Suburban), Rodalies (Commuter) and the Alicante TRAM network. You can use the Combinado Cercanías (Commuter) from 4 hours before departure and up to 4 hours after arrival at your destination.

Purchase your Combined Suburban ticket at self-service machines and ticket offices, scanning the barcode or entering the numeric code on your ticket. At stations in Cercanías (Commuter) hubs in Madrid, Malaga, Valencia and Murcia/Alicante, you can access the Cercanías (Commuter) network directly by scanning the two-dimensional barcode on your AVE (high-speed) or Larga Distancia (Long Distance) ticket at the turnstiles, so you do not have to wait at self-service machines or ticket offices.
