When travelling in a Premium space with food and drinks, you will be able to choose between three menu options, depending on the time of day:
You can make this choice when purchasing your ticket on the website, at ticket offices or travel agencies, up to 24 hours before you travel.
If you travel on our AVE trains (except AVE Internacional between Spain and France) or Euromed with a Premium ticket, you will enjoy the best catering served at your seat, thanks to the Premium Menus. A five-star menu created under the guidance of chef Ramón Freixa. Enjoy it for breakfast, as an aperitif, for lunch, as a snack or dinner, depending on the route and the time at which you travel.
In-seat food and drinks are included in the Prémium ticket, as well as many other additional services and the best policy for changes and cancellations. The ticket shows a breakdown with the price of transport and food and drinks, including the corresponding VAT. We offer you all the information about what your ticket includes clearly and with full transparency.
What's more, if you travel in Elige Confort, you can purchase your Premium menu on board our AVE (high-speed) and Euromed trains. For just €25 for lunch or dinner, and €22 for breakfast, aperitif or afternoon snack, enjoy this delight designed by Ramón Freixa, our consulting chef with 2 Michelin stars and 3 Repsol suns.

A wide range of sustainable and healthy food and drinks with the touch of chef Ramón Freixa, a chef who has received 2 Michelin Stars and 3 Repsol Suns in his Madrid restaurant.
You can enjoy food and drinks during breakfast, morning snack, lunch, evening snack or dinner, depending on the journey and the time slot in which you travel. On short journeys, we offer you a small snack, consisting of a drink and something to munch on.
To ensure that the food and drinks satisfy your requirements, we recommend that you select your menu at the time of purchase. If you do not do so, our crew will offer you a menu with the three options, subject to availability.
If you need a special menu adapted to your diet, please do not hesitate to request it at the time of purchase of your ticket and at least 12 hours before the departure of your train. We offer a varied range of menu options: low-sugar, gluten-free, lactose-free, vegetarian, children's, vigil (Lent only), Halal, low-salt, vegan and Kosher.
You know that our à la carte tickets for AVE (high-speed), AVE International between Spain and France and Larga Distancia (Long Distance)trains cater adapt to you and your needs for each trip.
With this in mind, if you do not want the Prémium Menu, you can choose to purchase an Elige Confort Ticket, allowing you to travel in an XL seat as well as the optional extra Menu Box for an additional cost, served in the comfort of your seat. Also remember that all our AVE and Long Distance trains have a cafeteria and/or mobile bar service. You choose when travelling on our trains.
If you need an invoice for your Premium ticket, one can be requested via the usual means.
